CALeDNA Fire BioBlitzes Start Saturday

We're back outdoors!

CALeDNA

Welcome team to our new and improved email format!

Gray skies are clearing and leaving behind perfect soil sampling weather. We’re starting off our post-wildfire monitoring study for 2020. We’ll continue our annual soil and sediment sampling of sites affected by the Woolsey Fire to see how the biological community has changed over time. As always, all ages and all levels of experience are welcome. We’ll start with a sample collection demonstration and have plenty of time to answer questions before starting our observations together.

This Saturday, February 1st at 10AM, join us at Juan Bautista de Anza Park in Agoura Hills. We’ll be making observations to determine how severe the remaining fire damage is and of course collect plenty of soil samples. Event registration is now LIVE and strongly recommended. Check the flyer before for more detail and our website to sign up!

Stay tuned for upcoming news about more sampling events.

See you Saturday!
